Price, quality and appearance are all excellent.

This is a really well made stool.
Excellent quality and materials!
The velour seat pad itself is soft and luxurious.
I definitely recommend this stool.

LOVE IT! So comfortable and super sturdy

We purchased the stool to match the piano and very pleased with both products. It looks great in the house as part of the furniture too.

The piano bench compliments my DDP80. Comfortable for long sessions, sturdy and storage to boot.

decent stool, not the best but, good for my needs which isn’t to play the piano. this seat wouldn’t be that comfy for sitting that long IMO, just not enough cushion on it, at least not with the felt version we got. really i think the standard longer piano stool my DD’s hub has is more comfy.. i got this to use at my puzzle table since it has a smaller footprint, unlike my office chair that was taking up too much room. works well for my need. the stool lid is a little wobbly when open and closing it but, overall works fine.

Easy to put together. Nice short small bench with storage. Sturdy and durable - this piano bench will last a long time. Has a light padding on top. Would recommend.

Everything about this piano bench is high quality, from the finish on the wood, to the upholstery, and the hardware used throughout. It feels very durable, we have no doubt that it will last for many years to come. The storage under the seat is very convenient too. The images do a great job of representing this bench, it's exactly as it appears and as you'd expect. It looks and feels like a nice piece of furniture, not a cheap piano bench, which is exactly what we were hoping for

I am just wowed by the quality of the Donner bench. The build is very solid and the materials, fabric, finish, all beautiful It is pine, not hardwood, but is so well finished, and topped with a velvet seat, it looks right at home in a room with high end furniture and finishes. This would be perfect for a child just learning to play, but is well sized and very usable by an adult. I love the storage. It is perfect for so many things. I am tempted to put my embroidery supplies in there, but my husband does have a keyboard, so it can be used as intended. I am not sure if the color came through well in my photo, but the velvet is a dark emerald green. It does not, in any way, look cheap. I am really really happy with this piece and will be looking at what else Donner makes. It is wonderful quality for the price!

I got this to go along with our black piano instead of the smaller stool without storage we had before it. I love the storage under the seat for music books and headphones, and it looks really nice too! It was super easy to assemble, no instructions were included but also weren't required. The legs came tucked inside the storage with the hardware bolts and nuts attached, it was pretty intuitive to just undo the hardware, put the leg on, and then put the hardware back. The only thing that surprised me, however, was the color of the suede on this variant- it's not black, but a deep navy blue. In the pictures I thought the difference was a wood leg version versus a black one, but it seems the top is also a different color. I thought a wood leg with black top would go very handsomely with our black piano, but the blue sort of feels out of place. If you've got a wood colored piano it would probably be a much nicer companion, I personally wish the top were black. It is very soft and the storage is useful so we'll still use it.

I love this seat. I don't have a piano. I'm using this for my vanity seat. Much needed.

I needed a bench for my piano and a place to store my music and this one works perfectly. It's not big enough for 2 adult people but it's perfect for one. No complaints a must have when you need a piano bench and a place to store extra music.

I'm a fan of this piano bench. It's not full grain leather but the suede is pretty good quality for what you pay for. It's comfortable for an hour practice session and it's the perfect height for our electronic piano. Assembly was also very easy as it's all self contained. The legs are going to be in the compartment. Please make sure to put the washer, helical spring/split lock and the nut on the inside. Otherwise, it's going to make noise when you move the bench around. To make assembly easier and faster, please use a 17mm ratcheting wrench rather than the included wrench. All in all, it's a good piano bench but I do think it could be a bit cheaper around £70. I do not recommend getting a piano bench with PU/plastic/bonded/fake leather, it's not worth it. It will crack and be absolutely uncomfortable within a couple of years. Just get this bench because suede won't crack and will still be comfortable for a while. But if you have the money for genuine leather, go for it but those benches are usually 4-5x more expensive than this bench.

On opening, I was delighted to find that the top part (the box, drawer, or seat) comes fully assembled. It is just a matter of putting the four legs on, and they smartly come with the washer, lock washer, and nut already on each of them so you know how they should go. It comes with a small end wrench, but if you want to use a ratcheting socket wrench to make it easier, I found that an 11/16ths worked perfectly. The velvety-looking seat material is attractive and comfortable. The hinge works great. You can tell that a lot of thought went into this engineering. I have no issues whatsoever and will update if any occur during use.

The legs are the most important part - they determine how well the bench holds up over time. These seem to be very well made - the fastening hardware is robust and the construction seems designed for longevity. Be careful when unpacking - the wrench to attach the legs is taped to the outside of the leg packaging and is easy to miss.

There is some assembly required, as you have to attach the legs. Even though there are no instructions, it is pretty easy to figure it out. Each leg is held on with a screw, a nut and two washers. There is no tool included, but you can use tools you already have, such as a socket wrench or even pliers. One thing to watch for is that the washers may fall off while you are attaching the legs. Make sure all of the parts are in place before tightening the nuts The bench doesn't wobble and feels reasonably sturdy. The upholstered seat looks and feels nice. You can open the seat and store sheet music or other items there.. I like that the bench legs have rubber pads, both for stability and to protect my flooring. This bench looks nice in my library, next to my keyboard and stand. It is easier and more comfortable than dragging a chair over when I want to use the keyboard.

This Donner piano bench was very easy to assemble; The bench is well made and sturdy; the wood color is beautiful and unique comparing to a typical black piano bench. The padded seat cushion is not very think (only about an inch and a quarter), but it is still feel comfortable; the black velvet seat cover is beautiful and softer than faux leather however it is also easy to show dust and harder to clean than the faux leather. I like that it has a nice storage for sheet music. The only down side is that the bench is only about 19 inches high instead of 19.4" listed in the description and the picture.

This is a decent piano bench. I was just looking for something to use to sit on while on a small piano to practice on for my apartment, and this one helps with the space to store books and other items with my lack of much space. It was easy to assemble. It is comfortable to sit on also. For what I needed, this works okay for me. It does have the logo only on one side as others have mentioned, so it can be turned around.

This is a nice little piano stool that holds a few pieces of music. Not full width, but adequate for a single person sitting. Looks very nice.

This is the cutest little storage bench and it’s the perfect height. It’s so well built and solid. I love the pine and the velvet seat. This seat is absolutely beautiful. This would be perfect for someone learning to play the piano however I got it for my granddaughter to use at her vanity. She loves the storage it has and keeps all her papers and stuff in it lol. I love that the wood is nice and strong feeling and doesn’t feel cheap made. It doesn’t come with instructions but we didn’t really need any it was easy to put together, took us about 10 minutes to assemble. I really like that when you lift the seat it does stay up until you close it again. This is a very nice, sturdy, well made piano bench and looks so beautiful in any room in the house.!! Would Highly Recommend!!

This piano bench has exceeded my expectations. First impressions were very positive; it’s made from a quality wood with a nice finish and a cushioned seat, upholstered perfectly in a black suede. The bench arrived in good condition with all the necessary parts. There were no instructions but they weren’t really necessary either. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble and I did use one of my adjustable wrenches to do the final tightening of the screws. The seat lifts and stays up until you close it and there is plenty of room for sheet music and music books. This is a solid, well-made and sturdy piano bench and it looks good too!

Perfect piano for me. All I want is a great sounding piano to play and learn on. No need for lots of voices and functions.
If I had the space and could justify the outlay I would buy an acoustic grand piano. The DDP-80 is really good substitute and looks great

This is a nice looking bench and is sturdy. The wood has a good shine to it and the cushion is firm and comfortable. It has storage space under the cushion for sheet music.
It is very easy to assemble, it took me less than ten minutes to get it put together.
It feels very sturdy and it doesn't wobble at all, plus it is a nice looking piano bench.
