Eccentric look, eccentric concept ... sometimes eccentrics are geniuses

It's a very nice futuristic looking guitar. Plays & sounds good with built in effects. I bought it from the website as it was £100 cheaper than the Amazon price & I only learnt this by reading a Review where someone said they wish they had bought direct, so I checked it out & they were right! Good deal.

Everything I need for trips abroad (unless I use budget airlines then it's a lottery...) where I can still practice without lugging acoustic in a hard case.
I've adjusted the bridge to bring the action closer to where my acoustics are and it plays like a dream. The bag is brilliant and keeps everything together and protected.
I did say it was going to be used as a practice guitar, but I sometimes sing at Open Mics so I'm looking to use this there. The FX onboard are great and supplement the Circle Looper which I also use.
Brilliant guitar. Highly recommend this to anyone...
Maybe stick a GPS chip on future models so I can find which one of my pals has "borrowed" it

One of the string is not giving good sound. i dont know if its earphone problem or guitar itself

Things got off to a slightly shaky start because Donner's chosen delivery partner (Yodel) are awful, but once the guitar actually arrived I was delighted: It's absolutely as good as everyone says.
It comes very well set up right out of the box (or bag, in fact). I personally would prefer slightly lighter strings and a slightly lower action, but I'm sure many others would prefer the reverse, so Donner are probably judging it about right.
The sheer playability and usability of the thing are what impresses the most: I just find I constantly want to pick it up and play. I'm particularly loving the bluetooth connectivity. Messing around with the various effects while playing over backing tracks is terrific fun - can't remember the last time I found myself trying to squeeze so much guitar-time into my days. Also absolutely love how it comes with what seem to be genuinely high-quality accessories, and not just tat.
Overall it's pretty hard to criticise. There's the usual piezo pick-up noises every time you move your fingers, and being an old fart I can't read the tiny screen without reading glasses on, but that's about it. It's very well made, and very, very well designed. The built in tuner is perfect, and I even find the tuning knobs perfectly OK to turn without needing the built-in tool.
Things I would like to see for the next generation Hush I-Pro: a larger screen, a switchable built-in noise gate of some sort, and for Donner to sell an optional rechargeable travel amp designed to work well with the Hush's sound profile. On that last point, I have found that plugging a Tribit XSound Surf into the headphone socket makes for a pretty good compact set-up, but I'm sure a company as clever as Donner could do better, and maybe even come up with something that fits in the existing case!
Steve R.
Great idea, executed well. The only issue so far is that the top E string is quieter than the rest; apparently a 'known issue', which should have been corrected. Some online help has suggested fixes. As a useful gig guitar, I'm hoping it will be great... watch this space!
GRAEME W.
Great guitar
Not a travel guitar for most if not all
European airlines as it is too
Long for cabin
Amazing sounds from it but little info screen is way too small to read easily
Action is very high and when they make/dispatch them they should easily pre adjust this down and maybe supply a smaller bridge as a swop / spare
Otherwise good for the price
Comes with a good storage/travel bag plus headphones , leads and straps and truss rod tool
Kevan L.
Wonderful to play and range of sounds are out standing. Lovely played through my Boss Katana and Postive Grid spark mini Via amp. Highly recommend this guitar.
Karl M.
Very happy with my Hush I Pro. Easy and comfortable to play, excellent for travelling.
Would definitely recommend to others.

its really good for beginners who want to learn how to play guitar. highly recommend

Mostly, I love my new guitar, it came with an excellent set of accessories and a great carry case, leaving an overall very good impression.
There are three minor irritations:
1. The lower bar makes playing when seated quite uncomfortable, for me at least. It's not a good copy of the shape of a normal acoustic guitar. A longer bar could make all the difference.
2. The upper bar makes it hard to read the screen
3. The position of the Quarter-inch socket makes the jack plug quite vulnerable. (That could be significantly mitigated if the supplied lead had a right-angled plug on one end. That's one change you could easily make.)
Tricia M.
Well designed and incredibly good value. Love it, a solid purchase.
James R.
This is going to be so useful for taking in my campervan. And is even gigable. Going to try it at a few open mics.
Some of the functions are a little heavy handed (and possibly not required).
On the whole very good for this price bracket.
Robert E.
Loved it straight out of the box and playable immediately. No problems whatsoever
Henry M.
Strings to high can drive a car underneath still filling nuts down
Munodeyi C.
The guitar is amazing in features & quality of build. Supporting info given, makes the journey of playing the Hush i-pro, an awesome experience.
david k.
Great guitar and great customer service!
Thank you very much Donner.
Philip S.
Unfortunately, the 1st guitar had a faulty pickup, but support were great and quickly sent a replacement guitar. This is a really good little guitar with a great sound. Perfect!
Elliot T.
Live in a flat so this guitar is perfect for silent practice, it also has plenty of extras to play with beyond a traditional guitar. The tuner is good. Extensions do move a bit but not too concerning. There is more weight to the body than I was expecting making it feel robust.
Jose Eduardo M.
For a beginner like me, I'm having a lot of fun.
David C.
It sounds great, however, the effects namely reverbs do not sound great. The editing from the guitar does not let you dial in the reverbs to sound good because not enough access to parameter. That being said, I haven't hooked it up to the software which may give you more parameter control
Steve J.
Great company, kept up to date on the progress, fast delivery. Guitar is awesome, deffo use again without hesitation
Joe H.
Everything was fantastic. The guitar itself is great to play and plenty of accessories with it. I would highly recommend this guitar.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brilliant! Very pleased with my Hush I Pro!
Takes a little getting used to, balance, appearance etc.
Plays well and there's loads of effects to try out.
All in all 10 out of 10.
Luke P.
Incredible value. Great playability, sounds are excellent for the price. The only downside I've found is the reverbs are way too loud even on the lowest setting.
Irvine W.
Just learning the acoustic guitar, fancied something different and the Donner Hush Ipro certainly proved to be that - a fantastic instrument - I still play my other acoustic guitars but can't help but playing the Hush before the end of Practice
Andy B.
Love the Hush I Pro - realised that I now have the time and resources to learn guitar, something I regretted not being able to do when younger. The Hush I Pro is so handy! I can keep it by my desk when I'm working from home and continue my journey regularly. So many features in such a small package it's incredible!
Really enjoying it, highly recommended.
Yousof K.
I have only had this a week, but I’m seriously impressed with this guitar. I’m able to play it silently but also bought a tiny external amp so I can play it aloud (Spark Go) and can then combine it with a guitar learning app (Yousician). That combination is just amazing and it’s so portable too.
Jeffrey G.
Didn’t no was getting 5his one was a gift from m6 other half its a great got two others 5hey play gr3a5 great size well made
ADAM C.
What an amazing guitar!...I love it!
Alan C.
Im having so much fun learning to play at 3am with a silent guitar and I imagine the neighbours are greatful for the headphone feature too.
Andy G.
Compact, real guitar neck and feel - and built in reverb and effects. Brilliant.
But as a travel guitar, I’ve enjoyed playing so much, I’ve bought new airline hold large baggage. As a travel guitar is too large for carry on on most airlines. I’m am taking it as a holiday practice guitar… it does not have the serious tones for gigs -but brilliant quality for what it is.
Gary A.
Only two faults as far as I am concerned:
1. The guitar comes set up too high and the saddle needs lowering to reduce action.
2. It would be advantageous if the Bluetooth allowed wireless headphones.
Otherwise a great guitar.
Bobby M.
Lovely action, the easiest guitar I've ever strung. Sounds great on my acoustic amp.
Aidan W.
Good value at £250 - will work well as a travel guitar. Sounds are pretty good but also trying out some downloadable acoustic IRs. Will be taking it for a decent set up at some point but not unplayable now.
Mark H.
After reading reviews from other purchasers, watching numerous video reviews on YouTube, I took the plunge and bought the Hush i pro.
Whilst I'm still getting used to it's many functions, they seem simple to use and adjust to creat and tweak to get the sounds I want. The materials and construction quality is remarkable for the price point.
I'm very happy with my purchase.
ARMANDO D.
Exceeded my expectations. Thank you Donner for such a wonderful product.
kenneth c.
I will be getting this for Christmas so I will have to wait.
Looks good came well packed and on time.
When I get to play it will write a further review.
Ian H.
I’m only a beginner guitarist. But I’m very impressed with my Donner Hush I pro. I am hoping that it will make learning easier for me, with it having a shorter scale, and being a far smaller package than a traditional acoustic guitar. The options available from the onboard electronics are amazing, and I’m looking forward to , one day putting them all to use.
Leroy F.
This is the second instrument we have had from Donner.the first was an electric piano and now this Hush Guitar Pro. The guitar is amazing, with very good effects
Both top notch and value for money.
Kerry C.
very impressed, great that everything needed is included
Glyn H.
Well constructed instrument at a good price. However, chose to return this item in favour of a Hush-X-Pro only due to my deciding it was more suitable for my needs.
Returns procedure completed in 2 weeks.
Jason D.
Awesome product, my only criticism is that I cant seem to adjust the level of the effects, a foot switch would be handy too!
Jonathan G.
Quick delivery and well packaged. I’m generally impressed with the quality at the price I paid. The neck shape is odd but actually very playable. It plays like an electric rather than an acoustic. It’s a struggle to get the strap attached. All the effects work well but are fiddly to access. I have a modelling amp already so might have been ok not getting the pro level with all its features. It’s not hard to get a reasonable tone and I suspect I’ll be sticking to one or two presets rather than using all the features. Generally I quite like it. It’s fun.
Daniel M.
Completely different experience while feeling familiar. Great for taking on the go and getting your practice in without having to lug around your full set up. On board effects are simple but effective. Some are gimmicky but with editable presets, you can get it sounding to your liking. Love being able to plug in headphones. Makes it super easy to practice in a hotel room or hostel without worrying about the neighbors. TL;DR best travel guitar I’ve ever had but not going to play MSG with it.
Lindsay H.
I'm genuinely amazed at how great this little guitar is! I've been struggling with arthritis for years now, and the Hush is really helping with that. I have 2 gigs next week and I'm looking forward to them more now that I've got a comfortable, great-sounding acoustic to take with me.
The stock sounds are VERY good. I thought I'd end up putting my own IRs in straight away, but I haven't needed to yet.
The controls are intuitive and pretty comprehensive. I wish it was possible to bring the delay and reverb mix down a bit farther than is currently possible though - at the moment even at 0%, they're a bit too much for general ambience.
The EQ controls are fantastic though, and it looks like the battery life is pretty good, too.
I love the case and accessories and can't fault the build quality.
Highly recommended!
Nicholas H.
Great wall art too!
David T.
Plays great, love it
Edgars I.
I love this guitar! It's cool, it's different and it rocks! Aaaand it's white
John M.
Frets needs a complete smoothing
Timothy H.
I use it to practice and memorize ragtime and blues tunes/sequences, but switched off completely. Very good indeed. I play parlour guitars, so I've tuned it down a whole tone, and then put a capo on the second fret. Works well!!
Have a small speaker which I can connect to with a cable (but not with bluetooth unfortunately) and have explored the sound effects. Not bad at all, but gives me more the effect of an electric guitar which is not what I want. (I must work a bit more on that, as it is capable of more, I'm sure.)
Joe T.
As a long time user of a Yamaha silent classical guitar, and looking for a steel strung silent Acoustic i was drawn to the Hush i pro as it has more customisable options , such as IRs etc over the Yamaha equivalent. I am really happy to say that I am really glad I decided to buy the Hush I Pro, the quality actually surprised me, I was expecting compromises but have found none. It is perfect for travel but equally perfect for home use. I like the light weight and i find it really comfortable to play for long periods. If i could change just one thing it would be the machine heads of the tuners, as someone who plays a lot of alternate tunings, the current tuners are not best for a quick retune.
I’m now very tempted to buy the Hush X Pro to use as a travel option over my James Tyler Variax for the variety of guitar modelling simulations but again i would want to try the tuners for ease of retuning to different alternate tunings.
The Hush C would be interesting if it had a wider nut width, 52mm as per a classical guitar, and offered alternative ‘classical ‘ guitar simulations. I’ll keep watching and hoping.
Overall a very happy customer.
Frederick L.
Just the thing for busy travellers. Compact, light, and has an amazing array of sound options.
David S.
Looks amazing great quality, much better than expected and easier to play than a full size, easier to see what you are doing. Great on an amp, and the extra sounds are great to mess about with. Kept in tune as well. So much better than I thought it would be.
darryl w.
excellent product
Steven S.
What a Fabulous well thought out bit of kit
Love It
David C.
Received within 48 hours,. Exactly as advertised, quality feel and build quality.
I would like to have seen a battery power indicator so I know when to recharge, a warning light would do.
Steven Robert J.
Fantastic quality would definitely purchase again from Donner
Ian C.
Easy to play and it is fantastic with the effects. Tops with action and playability. Already recommending to my fellow guitarists.
Ana O.
Espectacular service, super quick and efficient.
I love this guitar, it’s very light and motivates me to play more as I take it with me everywhere.
It also sounds great and the fretboard is smooth and very comfortable.
Thanks Donner, I will be getting more stuff from you and I will recommend you!!
Andrew B.
Really pleased. Arrived quickly and worked out of the box after tuning.
Keith R.
Excellent guitar, can do just about any sound you like.
It's that good I rarely pick up another guitar when practising.
Very easy to hold and play especially when on the sofa
Alex G.
Excellent instrument, I am always on the go and can take it anywhere. Brilliant for a quick practice session.
Ruan O.
Love it. Does what it is suppose to do...gives me a travel guitar I can practice with when I am away from home.
Paul R.
Received my first Ipro. Unfortunately it had a manufacturing fault.
Donner had no hesitation in sending a replacement.
Very pleased. Ideal guitar for practicing
on.
ben g.
Superb quality, great for travel. Excellent internal effects.
Phil W.
Excellent value and played well. After a setup it plays great, very happy
Ken H.
Nicely put together and easy to take around. Once you have mastered the settings, it's easy to create some really nice sounds. I have mine bluetoothed to my Galaxy buds and a Bluetooth speaker. Two minor criticisms, the controls are tricky to get at with the top profile bar in place (take it off) and the fretboard was a bit dry (squirt of wood polish). All round great fun and crazy cheap,
Aileen S.
Amazing sounds from this guitar at a very reasonable price. Loads of options to edit the sounds although I haven’t mastered that as yet but very glad I bought it.
Adam K.
It is an absolutely amazing guitar for a beginner because I can practice in silence anywhere at any time without annoying people whilst I learn. I think it is looks great and very convenient.
I think that to make it perfect the bluetooth would be able to be used for output from the guitar and now just input so you could use wireless headphones/speakers.
Christopher A.
This is my second Hush I as my fellow bandmate try it and woudn't give it back!
I went for the Pro model this time mainly for the quick release top and bottom frames but also the benefit of built in effects.
Martin K.
Perfect but the lower brace could use a bit of cushioning on the bottom.
Rob M.
I bought this for practice when travelling and it’s certainly very portable. I put my favourite electric strings on it and it plays and sounds great. My only criticism is the display on the guitar for the settings is so dim it is barely readable. There doesn’t seem to be a way to brighten it.
Nick B.
I already have a Hush-X electric which travels with me everywhere. I’ve set it up to perfection and except for putting in some better pickups, I’m incredibly pleased with. The Hush Pro I have just received seems equally well put together. I haven’t experimented much yet with the built in models and fx. My only criticism so far is that I’m going to have to do some work on the neck as the fretted G string buzzes badly up to fret 4.
James H.
Great guitar for traveling. Sounds fantastic and love all the different sound options
Paul R.
Reviewed the guitar several times on You Tube. It’s like the Tesla of guitars.
Only just getting to grips with all the effects. Really pleased with the purchase.
Nicolai S.
The first model shipped had a problem with the detachable frame. The customer service response was excellent, and after having demonstrated the issue in a short video a replacement model was shipped within days. Given the guitar's unconventional shape, its playability is surprisingly normal, and a lot of the sound effects are very good. An excellent choice for late-night practice or hotel rooms.
Marcus P.
Once I had changed the strings and dealt with the excessively high action, this turned out to be a great piece of kit, particularly as I purchased it when one of the frequent and generous discounts were available.
I'd recommend it for sure.
Paul H.
Great guitar with fantastic versatility and so portable for travelling. Excellent product.
Steve G.
Great sound an easy to travel.
Andrew S.
Excellent product and very good service for delivery and after sales
Olufemi S.
received the guitar and i am still in the process of checking out everything. I actually requested the white color, i think metallic white or something.
However so far so good.
M S.
Well set up with a low action and intonation that’s just right. It’s a pleasure to play and great that it packs down so small. The build quality is good and not disturbing other people in the house is priceless.
Shaun C.
I've played an acoustic guitar for many years but in recent years a stiff right shoulder has made using a standard guitar painful so I have not played very much. My daughter has taken over my Epiphone and she was playing it at Christmas together with my son and 2 grandsons. This has re-awakened my love of guitar and I saw the Donner Hush-i pro in an advert. I decided to take the plunge as the more compact size does not cause the problem with the shoulder. I love the sound, it's just like an acoustic. It also means I can take it on holiday in the motorhome due to the compact size. I love it.
Beverley H.
Exactly what my son wanted .
Thomas D.
Great guitar. Good sound and many effects. Great for travelling and very light.
Carol B.
It came on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. I was dubious at first as to whether the screen was too small for me to see properly. However I decided to keep it and I’m now getting used to the size of it. I had it professionally set up and I’m very pleased with it.
Philip H.
Arrived on time. Less than 10 minutes later I was playing and exploring. Action is excellent. Tuning a little fiddly but once I was used to the supplied Allen key it's no problem. Sound excellent. Playing a variety of types of music from classical to blues. Used presets and adjustments to experiment with sound. Just tried IRs too. Overall very pleased and highly recommended
Thomas F.
The 6th string has a tendancy to slip out of place on the bridge. A similar string tree to 1st/2nd strings would help.Apart from that the guitar is very good and well made action is slightly high. Best Regards Tom
Stephen B.
Well designed instrument and it looks great .

I'm Xiao Zhang, and the HUSH I PRO Guitar is incredibly useful! The effects are really rich, and the Air Boost makes the tone even clearer. The silent practice feature allows me to practice anytime, anywhere. Plus, the guitar is lightweight, and the battery is long-lasting—a travel essential! Great value, highly recommend!
