Donner DED-80 Electronic Drum Set

I bought the set for my daughter who recently started drumming in school. She absolutely loves it and won't stop practicing.

Excellent beginners kit that has some great features. The mesh pads feel great and the build quality of the set is excellent and representative of a much higher price drum kit. This was bought as a return to drumming for myself after a long break from playing, as well as an introductory set for my 4 year old daughter. I find the set a bit too small (I’m not particularly tall either at a measly 5”9) and the snare could do with another few inches (cough). But it still feels great to play and the Donner website offers great discounts so we got it at a steal. I’m going to upgrade straight away and get a larger set though as it turns out size is actually an issue.

The drum kit was exactly how it was advertised, it was way to assemble and the sound quit ur earphones is so clear, love the pre loaded music.

Excellent piece of equipment! Assembly instructions were a little daunting, but once we got into them, quite easy to understand. It would have been useful if we knew what speakers we would require. Which ones are compatible to this drum kit? Delivery was brilliant.

This kit is great, much better quality than I was expecting. Easy to set up and worked perfectly out of the box with nothing else needed. Highly recommend.

The kids absolutely love this kit and with the free headphones noone else has to hear them. Bit small for me but I enjoyed giving it a quick go. Not tried through a speaker yet. The play along tracks are good too. You get everything you need to get started including drum sticks. Well worth the money

For a beginner kit this is absolutely perfect!! I use to be a drummer in a band many years ago but then life got in the way, you know how it goes. Decided I wanted to get back into it . For this low price I was not expecting anything special but this blew me away with the quality, not just the look and feel but the sound is very very good. Got an amp coming soon so I can annoy the neighbours once more !! Great value, great sound and great fun.

Ordered for my daughter who just started lessons. Was looking for an affordable mesh kit and this is fantastic. Arrived next day, simple to setup and sounds fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We purchased this for our son’s 9th birthday after doing some research and we’re really happy with it. It’s not too big for him yet all the adults in the family have had a go too and it was great. The mesh pads are much better than the rubber pads his last set had and are considerably quieter too! With the headphones on the sound is awesome - totally spot on. The headphones are light to wear too. The stool (throne?) is sturdy and easy to adjust. I’d recommend this drum set!

I just bought this drum kit. I have long wanted to learn to play drums but didn't want something that made a lot of noise and took up a lot of space. This solved those 2 problems for me.

This drum set is great for a kid to start out on. The assembly was very easy, and the sound is great.

I wasn’t sure how good this would be to be honest but it’s a great starter kit. Sounds good through a speaker and in my Beats(headphones supplied not great). Has a good feel and is very good value for money compared to much more expensive kits. It was easy to set up and is really good fun to play.

Purchased the drum kit for my teenage son, wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it is. Ideal starter and loads of fun, had a go myself a few times! Can recommend this kit as it’s ideal and has loads of usable functions and menus.

I bought this because I always wanted a drum kit, I have never ever played drums so the thought of being able to hit the kit and you do not disturb or annoy the neighbours is great. Well worth the money,fantastic delivery time, so easy to put together. I highly recommend. Tommy

The ability to hook up an amo so we can listen to her play is very cool, but so is the earphones for when we don't want to hear her play...lol. It was very easy to put together and everything cam in great condition and securley packaged. Sounds great adn comes with everything you need to start playing right away. I will say that I am not fond of the stool it comes with. Doesn't feel secure and I plan to buy a better one, but all in all, fantastic deal.

It was for my son and he loved it, for us very easy to put it together.

Great value especially with free delivery and was quick to arrive which was an issue because I was worried it might not arrive in time for a birthday! It was just perfect for an 8 year old boy and he loves it! So does his mother because it doesn’t take up too much room and he can play for hours without creating any noise. Best thing I’ve bought in a long time, it was on the spur of the moment and worked out really well even though I was worried it wouldn’t coz I’m not a musician so a lot was on trust about what I read on the website.

Easy assembly. Not a fan of the short power cord. Definitely need an extension cord to get comfortable placement. Pleased with the responsive pedals and general sound options of the set. In general, I'm a fan of the mesh heads & pleased with this purchase. Fully recommend.

The owner of a new electronic drum kit and sticks - our soon to be 11 year old granddaughter is totally rapt! And she has taken to it like a duck to water. . . she's a natural. We knew that natural co-ordination would be a factor in learning drums - well, she has it in spades. Her uncle is a drummer (though she has never seen him 'at work') also had that natural aptitude. It was easy to order and we received out drum set very quickly. Service was very good. Too soon to say how it is because it is a gift which hasn’t yet been given.

Bought for my 13 year old. They had started kit drumming lessons at school. They loved it and picked it up quickly. Unfortunately for someone who struggles with sound sensitivity they gave it up. I got this kit and they have practiced every day as they can turn down the volume on the headset. Great kit that allows them to continue learning and develop their skills. Happy proud mama. Happy offspring!!

We liked it, especially my 6year old drummer boy. Unfortunately we can't get it to make sound yet. Speaker was purched separately. I will write another review when we get it to work.
