Donner DDP-200 Upright Digital Piano

My first piano, I'm thrilled I choose Donner it's sounds great, and looks lovely.

We love our new digital piano, its been used everyday and our aging upright piano has not been played since its arrival.

This is a beautiful piano. It looks and sounds amazing. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up. It was for our son’s 13th birthday and he says it’s one of the best presents he’s ever received. Excellent value for money. Thank you!

I had a poor delivery experience, but Donner’s customer service was prompt and helpful in resolving it. The piano is amazing - it is compact and fits right in my son's room, but doesn’t compromise on sound quality.

It is a very nice piano, only issue is my own fault. I screwed something in slightly bad which chipped the wood and rendered the screw unusable so it’s causing some problems but im able to kind of work around it. Obviously that’s just my own fault but other than that I love it!

My first digital piano. Uncomplicated functions Nice wood effect keyboard and stand. A free matching bench/stool was a welcome bonus. Sound produced is very good but could be a little louder for my liking however the 15w speakers was better than other models out there.

I was somewhat concerned about ordering from Donner due to some of the reviews, however, I absolutely love my piano. I’m a complete beginner and I love how it looks and how it sounds. It was easy to put together, delivery was great and I have no complaints. It is wonderful and I love playing it.

The service from Donner was excellent and I love the piano. I look forward to playing and enjoy the feel of it. I missed my baby grand when I couldn't fit it into my new home, this piano is the perfect solution.

The piano arrived very promptly and was quite easy to assemble. A couple of the front screws under the keyboard couldn’t be fitted as there was not enough room but it was adequately attached to the base by four screws (2 each side). The tone is very good and it responds well to touch. Unfortunately two keys in the highest octave A and D don’t spring back immediately after striking. Otherwise very good value.

Got this for my wife to replace an old traditional upright. It takes up so much less space and looks good, plays very nicely - she loves it!

Arrived in good time. It was purchased to replace an old friend, an upright that had finally seen better days. Simple to put together and a pleasure to play. I still hit the same bum notes that I always have, playing by ear, but my wife has renewed her interest in relearning a lot she had forgotten. With earphones, we now don't disturb the neighbours.

Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble and sounds great even for a beginner

First of all, delivery was fast and efficient. the piano was well packed. second, it was quite easy to put up. only 8 large screws and a bit of manpower required. third, it plays very well. But unlike many other electric keyboards, this one just has three piano voices, an organ, strings and a couple of others ,'No drums or rhythm. it plays well, is loud enough and the sound quality is very good. the weighted keys are responsive. overall VERY happy, and great value for money.

I was bought this piano as a gift for my birthday and I absolutely love it! It's well built, stylish and a nice piece of furniture as well as being an instrument. The action of the weighted keys is fantastic and is easy to do staccato whilst still sounding great. It has got a couple of different modes other than grand piano and is easy to use. It's ideal for beginners or seasoned pianists.

Needed an upgrade from my basic keyboard. As a learner I don't really have the knowledge yet of how it feels and what the ddp200 is capable of. It's does,however, look beautiful in my room and sounds crisp and clear. The delivery after purchase was quick. So far an easy 10/10

Great Piano, The weighted keys nearly have the feel of an actual piano and you soon get used to that. Sounds good and looks neat.

I'm a complete beginner so no expert but this looks good and feels fine. It is good where I live that the sound can be contained through headphones. Fits the bill for me.

My Donner 200 arrived within days. It was well packaged and easy to put together. It does help having an extra person. I absolutely love it. It fits perfectly in my small terraced house and the wood effect one matches my furniture. The keys only require a light touch, so perfect for those with some health conditions. My friend loves it so much that she is getting rid of her normal piano and going to buy a Donner 200. We are both in our 70’s, so perfect for all ages.

I was very surprised at the speed of delivery as it usually takes longer. The piano is just what I need as a retired music teacher with limited space. The tone quality is very good and I am practising every day to make sure I can get the weighting right as I have not had space for a piano and feel a bit rusty. I can already feel that it’s becoming familiar.

Love this piano I learned to play when I was young and now at 64 I have a piano again! It feels and sounds just like a real piano I am so happy to have this lovely instrument in my home.

Delivery was problematic - the courier delivered the stool without the piano. Donner dealt with the problem and the piano was delivered. Very well packaged. Assembly was simple - one size of bolt, and clear instructions. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing. It has a relatively small footprint and when the cover is down, it blends in to the room unobtrusively. I have never used a piano before, and so my impression of its function is uninformed and personal. It sounds like a real piano. The keys have a weighty, solid feel, and the sound varies according to how hard they are pressed. The headphone sockets are conveniently placed on the under left side, so you don't need long cables, and it is easy to practice without disturbing others. I bought the DDP 200 in order to learn the piano. It seems ideal for that purpose. I do not see that I will need to upgrade this piano once I am proficient. It would be equally suited to a professional player.

The piano was delivered in a very short time. We installed it quickly thanks to the easy installation instructions. It has a very nice design. My children are very happy with our new piano.

The only downside is the headphone volume, which is quite low. Also, the cable for connecting the pedals is too short to hide it properly. Other than that, I find it excellent - very nice finish and design, easy to assemble, and it looks like a table when not in use. The speaker volume is sufficient, although sometimes a bit more is desired. The Bluetooth MIDI is perfect for learning. Delivery in 5 days without any complications.

A beautiful electronic piano that complements any space in the house. It was the birthday gift for my wife, who hadn't played the piano in many years. She saw it and it was love at first sight. The construction is excellent, the keys feel solid, and the entire piano has a modern yet classic look. The bench arrived separately a few days later. Both items are very easy to assemble. Now, I want to learn how to play the piano!

The actual piano is amazing. Really incrediable sound, full and beautiful. Very noticed a few keys don't always sound the same volume but it may be me playing and not pressing hard enough. I will keep testing it. The design and casing is slimline and really easy to fit into small places. I had loads of issues with shipping and delivery. Really poor communication and terrible service. It was delayed and I had to call customer services many times but the number was often not able to be contacted even in opening hours. Not at all impressed with the company nor the shipping.

Aside from a minor Quality Control issue with the stand (which is in the process of being resolved) I have been able to begin using the DDP200 and am really enjoying it. I was certainly impressed with the purchase and delivery process and the quality of the packaging was first class. Musically, I now hope that I can do the keyboard justice.

Sounds just like a piano. Keys feel like a piano. The technology is spot on.Very happy with this purchase.I had zero experience with piano’s. Now, I have basic skills and (with the help of the app) I can play some of the basics.Definitely worth the cost. Customer service is responsive and ready to help.

I’m an adult who took piano classes as a child...this piano is the neatest gift I have received! Putting it together was a piece of cake..maybe 30 minutes. I only asked my husband to help once to lift it. I get to play and learn new things with the use of the app. Sound great! Performed great! And fits seamlessly with our contemporary home design!

The form factor of the piano makes it great for any small space. With powerful speakers and digital features, this small yet powerful piano can push the boundaries of what a modern piano can do without the tuning, ease of transport, finding space for it. Would not second guess this purchase if I had to do it again. The price is well worth what you get.

The metal legs of the cabinet is ruining its overall look as a piece of furniture, the speaker system is weaker than the ddp-80

I was excited when I saw this piano advertised. It matched the furniture in the room perfectly and seemed to have good reviews. When it arrived and I began assembling it it was immediately noticeable how cheap the materials were. The back supports are flimsy pressed cardboard with a cheap wood paper veneer. The holes for the screws had to be punched through and half of the screw holes didn't line up well between the pieces being joined. The screws attaching the piano bench were loose and couldn't be tightened resulting in the lid rattling anytime it was opened. The worst part was playing the piano. The sustain pedal doesn't work resulting in unexpected staccato notes when 3 or more keys are pressed together. Trying to return it has been a nightmare. Customer service offered me a new pedal with a 35 business day wait and a 13 dollar discount on the bench. When i declined and said I'd like to exercise the 30 day return because of product defects they told me they needed another department to approve and that department hasn't contacted me in over 7 days. Would NOT recommend doing business with this company unless you know you're not in the market for a quality product.

This has been the worst purchasing experience of my life. I paid $1,000 for a high quality piece of music equipment and as soon as I open it I see damage to the black electrical box that sits underneath the keys. I take pictures and send to your customer service team, stating that I have received a defective product. There response was to tell me they didn't "think" it looked too bad and that it "probably" doesn't affect the performance. Abdallah then offered to mail me $40 EUR in a few weeks if I would just keep the broken keyboard. I said no, please issue an RMA/provide shipping label so I can send back and please send me one that is not damaged. He then told me to assemble it completely and send him a video of what it sounds like, which was ridiculous and obviously a tactic to get me to set it up and make it more difficult to return. I explained that if a brand new Ipad showed up with a scratch down the side of the screen from top to bottom and you paid $1,000 for it, apple wouldn't just tell you sorry buddy, why don't you just keep it and we will send you $40 in the mail? They would apologize, issue the return and shipping label, then send out a replacement or provide a refund if the part is out of stock. I keep asking the same thing and eventually Abdallah (who was calling me by the wrong name) escalated to Fadel, who has asked for multiple videos and pictures, which I have sent. I am also missing the assembly equipment, the manual and I came across missing screws that should secure the black box to the underside of the keys, plus what looks like nails or screw shallow holes in one of the wooden boards. Finally, I noticed damage to the frame of the keyboard. I have provided all of the details to your customer service team. Why do I have to go back and forth a million times just to get a return on a product that costs a grand and shows up in very poor shape, missing pieces, etc... I don't ever right reviews or posts or anything when I purchase (and return when damaged/defective) products but I am taking plenty of time to write this one because it floored me how awful Donner's customer service team is...if their goal is to annoy and ask me millions of questions/emails and request videos and videos and pictures and restate the issue ad nauseum then they've done a great job so far. I am honestly expecting the next request will be for me to send copies of my birth certificate, a certified cancelled check and my first born child's Health Records... All by the way, with zero action and zero movement on their end, they do nothing, then request more and more, then they do nothing, then they request more and more. The only, I repeat the only thing that they have done was offer to mail me $40 EUROs in a few weeks if I would just keep the broken Piano. That's it, 40 bucks in the mail in a few weeks.. but you have to keep the $1,000 paperweight posing as piano that our company sold you. I regret purchasing through Donner so badly but I am determined now based on how things have gone and how I've been shit on as a customer that I will never stop pushing, responding providing details, answering and following up constantly to get a return/refund on this piano. I won't stop and I plan on telling all of the musicians and casual players I know to avoid Donner and will be telling them this story, which I am sure will scare them away from making purchases as again I don't ever write reviews, comment on products or anything like that, so they will trust my warnings about Donner. It makes me furious when I think about what I could have bought instead. I am hoping that this portal goes to somebody besides Abdallah and Fadel but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it went directly to them for reply. It would make sense based on how things have gone so far. From 1 to 100, 100 being the best, I am at a 3 and customer service is a 2 out of 100. The worst by far I have ever experienced.

I'm an intermediate/advanced player. Previously, -Weighted keys feel better than any other keyboard I've ever played - they have that heft/weight to them that most digital pianos lack. - Sound quality - it's just a beautiful sounding instrument. I usually play with headphones, but the times I've played out loud with the built in speakers, it has also sounded great. You get that "feel it in your chest" effect that usually only happens on the real thing. - Dynamics - holy moly, it really is like playing an acoustic piano - it is extremely responsive to touch and feels very natural. Overall I'm just thrilled with this instrument! I was a little scared to buy from this company since they are newer and seem to exclusively sell online, but this particular model was a great purchase. And truly this isn't just for beginners - I think a piano player at any level would be impressed with the quality of this instrument.

Overall, i am very pleased with this purchase and the piano itself. I have never wanted an electric piano, but after reading several reviews and watching several videos, I knew that I would be quite happy with this option. The assembly was very easy and intuitive, and I am very happy with the piano sound and playing in my first uses of it.

This piano feels as close as you can get to a real piano. I was thrilled when I first tried it and felt how accurate the weighted keys are. They feel heavier in the lower register and lighter in the higher register. The sound sounds amazing to me, and I don’t feel the need to use headphones or an amp, though I am a beginner and don’t have a lot of experience with different pianos. The sound and feel of it are both so great I don’t even think about it not having the features most keyboards have. I wanted to just play piano, and for that this is perfect. I’ve had this now for about a month and it has brought me so much joy and happiness. Practicing on it is the best part of my day. I don’t normally write reviews, but felt compelled to for this piano. I don’t feel that I will need to upgrade to a real piano for a very long time, which is good because I don’t have the space for one! So if you’re someone who is interested in fulfilling your or someone else’s dream of playing the piano, this is a great piano to start with.

This piano is pretty and stylish. My 10 year old is 1 year into lessons and this is working out beautifully. The sound is good. The weighted keys feel similar to a traditional piano which was the most important factor for me. I love that it doesn't have all the distracting features of other electronic pianos. He sits down and gets right to playing! Overall worth it.

The keys are a bit more weighted than a baby grand and definitely more than an average keyboard. The sound quality is good along with a more sleek furniture look unlike other keyboards is nice.

I play 5-6 days a week and am never disappointed in the performance of my piano. I cannot say enough good things about this unit and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!!

First off, there are no other keyboards that come close to this one in design. It’s gorgeous to see in person, and I get so many comments from guests asking about it. The tone is beautiful and convincing for a relatively affordable keyboard. It only had one sound - the piano- and it does it very well. The keys are on the heavier side, it feels more like playing a concert grand piano than an upright. That being said, it has excellent dynamic range and both beginner and experienced musicians alike will find it a joy to play! I highly recommend it!

I was looking for a piano that I could move as needed. It sounds like a real piano and feels like you are playing a piano. Doesn't feel like an electric keyboard when you are playing. Easy to assemble. A lot easier to move than a real piano.

I've had this for about 3 weeks now and I'm still in love with it. It was easy and straightforward to assemble, and it feels super sturdy. The sound is great and the keys feel like a real acoustic piano. Specifically, the black keys have this subtle matte and non-slippery feel compared to other pianos/keyboards I've played on.

I am so so happy with this purchase. Everyone who comes by my apartment has something nice to say about my beautiful, stylish piano. While the sound is a bit lackluster in my opinion,the feel, weight, and feedback of the keys is nearly identical to what you would find in a grand piano. I can’t recommend this enough.

Item was just as expected and I’m happy to report I’ve been using it a lot. In the past when I had keyboards without weighted keys I just never played because it sounded bad, too much clacking. This purchase was such a good solution and I love to play it. Definitely worth paying a bit more for a keyboard that actually feels and sounds more like a real piano.

This is a great piano for a hobbyist who doesn't want something with a million bells and whistles. I used to play on a grand piano for a long time, and while this obviously can't measure up to that it is a great low cost alternative.Very satisfied with my purchase!

It's a beautiful piece in my house and also is fun to play, the keys feel like how a piano should be. I do wish there were more bells and whistles but the simplicity and beauty of this is well worth it.
