Donner DST-700 Electric Guitar

Guitar seems well manufactured. Wood well finished on body and neck. Frets smooth, no sharp edges. Pots and switch feel nicely weighted. Pickups are clear and balanced if a little quieter than I expected -but no hum even when coil split, which is good. Guitar was pretty well set up out of the box but needed intonation and string height adjusting. Main issue is the tuners especially on low E and A strings - they have too much play. At this price point however, i can afford to buy some better tuners and replace them.

Lovely guitar, plays very nicely but had to replace the strings as the lower E String was broken before I got it out of the box..didn’t bother to take a photo as it isn’t a very big deal but frustrating to have to purchase a new set before I could play it..ordered a new set of Amazon which arrived next day… Overall it’s a great guitar for the money, just quality inspection isn’t up to scratch…

Love the Basswood guitar but felt a bit let down by Donner with the advertisement of this model. I was thinking I was purchasing a Mahogany body & neck as the photo diagram showed.

The guitar itself is excellent! I did, however have a few days, prior to receiving it, of concern, relating to the misinformation online! The item was described as being in stock in U.K., at point of ordering and would take 3 to6 days to arrive.When this hadn’t occurred, I e-mailed Donner U.K., but received no reply, and after 2 more days, I sent a further message to them. They did reply to this message, saying the goods were on their way, but from the information received about the parcel itself, the item appears to have originally been sent from overseas to Donner U.K. first, before arriving with me, almost a further week later. If I had looked on Trust pilot, before I had ordered from Donner U.K., I might not have placed the order, due to so many negative comments, and I would have missed out on an excellent guitar, so Donner U.K., you need to improve your customer relations element, so that purchasers are kept reliably and accurately informed about your products and delivery expectations! Feels smooth, looks great and do far sounds great. Will see how it does in the next few weeks.

A great guitar worth lot more than its pricetag. Minimalist design with maximum sound quality and superb playability - the split coils have a lovely clean sound and full on humbuckers are both powerful and articulate through distortion. A very happy purchase, with a Donner gig bag thrown in at no extra cost. Love it.

Quick postage & great Guitar

I discovered this electric guitar after watching a review on YouTube. It's my first time encountering this brand, and I genuinely think it's great. The packaging is excellent, and the guitar case is quite sturdy. Now, I take this guitar with me to work, and during breaks, I enjoy playing and singing along with my colleagues.

I’m pretty surprised of the quality of this guitar for the money. This is perfect to take with me to practice with. I really like it and haven’t seen another similar practice guitar even close to this one. Fast delivery.

This guitar is cool I had trouble tuning it one string would not tighten but otherwise go for it its very unique

This guitar is amazing! The sound quality this guitar puts out for the price, plus the size, unreal! I can even carry this on my motorcycle! Showed some friends and they were blown away! Love this!

After using it for a while, I wanted to share my thoughts. The guitar is really innovatively designed, looks super cool, and it's so portable – exactly what I was looking for.
