Inspired by Donner’s classic Yellow Fall, the ECHO on the Triple Threat has been upgraded and the analog circuits have been tuned to White’s specifications. It maintains a simple operation - no tap, but three responsive knobs, and it has a warm, haunting character.

This pedal is a bargain! Brilliant sound, capable of both subtle effects and in your face brutality. It's true analogue across all 3 effects and you can tell, especially with the delay where digital emulations often struggle to capture that self-oscillating feedback. Though aimed at guitarists (or even open chord blaggers like me hehehe) this would be great for all sorts of uses, I've already tried it as a dub phaser/delay on a fx send and immediately put 2 other pedals up for sale as it blows them away. This would be a great first pedal, and I can well imagine any young guitarist being stoked to get one for their birthday. If you only had one pedal, you could do a lot worse than this one, though I'm getting subjectively best results with compressor>overdrive before and an ambient reverb after. Highly recommended.

I'm a fan of Donner products, I already have 5 of them, so I wasn't surprised at how good this pedal is. Now the sounds are good, although a bit standard for the effect type each represents. My favorite is the distortion. I'm not usually a distortion fan, but this one sounds just raunchy enough, without getting muddy. Sounds best to me with p90s. The phaser is the one I like the least. It sounds a bit flanger-esque, which I guess makes it versatile. The delay is a reiteration of the yellow fall, which I already own and like, so I'm obviously happy with it. I highly recommend this product.

I received my Donner Mini Effect Chain Alpha BASS Guitar Effect today. It's super small, in a good way. As you can see in the pictures it's not much larger than a stand size effect pedal. You can just tuck it into your bass case be be good to go. The packaging was great. I confess I already own two of the Donner Mini Effect Chain Alpha Crunchers for guitar. Solid little units. One is home and the other is in my gig bag in case something happens to my pedal board. Some nice features we that the power cord is approximately 10 feet long which should be fine for most gigs and there is a XLR direct out on the side of the unit making it perfect for recording and anyone going direct such as church musicians. I won’t be able to test that feature until the next time we have a gig.
