The piano is great and sounds lovely. I am taking up the instrument again after stopping playing some 20 years ago so needed a quality sound and touch for the price which it is.
However, no information is available anywhere on the touch sensitivity. It does have this and it is adequate, feeling and responding to how hard you press just like an acoustic piano.
Build quality is great and there is no movement when playing which is great. The unit is easily moved and the stand is of a substantial quality.
My unit unfortunately came with a stool which had a pin missing in the hinge for the lid. For a £70 stool this is not good however I came to an arrangement with customer services to get a discount rather than have to send back.

Very good instrument for its price and very easy to assemble , I was also kept up to date with the delivery.
One thing that could have been better is the fact that there are multiple scratches in the rose gold metal on the key cover.
The keys also have scratches and plastic pealing off from the inside but not visible upon first inspection.
Also keep in mind that you'll need to buy an adaptor to use the headphones.
Other than that very good playing and I would recommend it for any beginner

The piano was easy to put together- I did it with my 8 year old in less than an hour! It has a beautiful sound, feels like a piano when played and it looks gorgeous.
However, the box it arrived in shows that it was not handled with any type of care and showed signs of being left somewhere wet and muddy, possibly for a while.
The piano lid is bowed and so rubs against the top when opened.
I’m awaiting customer services reply to resolve the issue.

I was very glad & surprise to receive the piano on the next day of purchase. However, the bench was missing, and still now not yet received. A little bit upset for it.
Also, the delivery was so bad. It just left in the mailbox of the main gate, but not to the my apartment. I need to move the piano without any trolley

So impressed by the quality of the DDP-100. It has been an awfully long time since I have played, and in retirement I wanted that special sound and feel of the keys that I would recognize when I first began as a complete beginner many years ago. Of course, I am very much that once more but this instrument will provide me with the motivation and joy to begin the challenge again. It was such a relief really to find an instrument that focused completely on the qualities that represents a quality piano without the distractions often incorporated into electric keyboards. I previously ordered a different brand. It was defective when it arrived - the keys were uneven and wooden pegs were missing. The manufacturer wanted me to keep it and give me a discount. How can you play on a defective keyboard in the first place?!?! And who would want a defective piano in the 2nd place! The other brand also had a lot of "extras" that I found unnecessary. There were various rhythms/sounds to chose from. This piano has an on/off and volume control. PERFECT!!!! I want a piano and not an orchestra!!!! Also, this brand was very easy to put together - NO MISSING PARTS. In fact even extra parts for "just in case". It feels very sturdy - better than the other brand I bought. I am so happy with this purchase. It was a little more than the first one I bought but definitely worth it. I recommend this piano 1,000,000%!!!!!

I purchased this piano for my 11 year old child. The package was good and the UPS driver helped me carry it upstairs. Definitely a 2 person job to carry to the location of where you will be assembling it. Assembly was insanely easy. Like less than 7minutes. It helps having 2 people with the assembly. Okay about the piano. It sounds and feels like a normal piano. The keys are weighted which give it the authentic feel. The volume gets very loud if you would like. A regular piano could cost ￡10,000 plus, so for under ￡600 to have a piano delivered to your front door is amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the wood is a high density compressed particle wood. So do not place the piano near a wet area as I would imagine there would be swelling of the wood. Great buy and so nice to have in our home. We will enjoy it for years to come.

I settled on the Donner DDP-100 model after reading several reviews for this and other models. I was slightly nervous because reviews were a bit mixed recently, but thought it would be worth the chance, considering our needs (2 beginners...really all 4 of us are at a pretty basic skill level). We have to travel an hour to find a good piano shop that has a decent inventory and the high-end brands didn't really have reviews that sounded all that much better compared to this one. Packaging: I will say that it came very well packaged: box was sturdy, pieces were securely fit in styrofoam, and each piece was individually wrapped in plastic to protect the finish. I assessed each piece for any signs of damage or defect and found only a small drip of glue on the front of the keyboard that is BARELY noticeable. Assembly: Again, reviews were mixed about how easy it is to get this assembled. Some swear it is a 2-person job, while others say one person can handle it. I was really nervous as I started to assemble the base because it didn't seem terribly sturdy initially. It took a bit to get it all screwed together. One of the caster inserts wasn't installed correctly and came out when I was trying to adjust a screw, but it was a very easy fix. Once the base was assembled, the whole unit felt more sturdy and it looked great. I was able to pick up the keyboard unit by myself and put it on the base without assistance. It took just a little bit of work to line everything up, so I could attach the keyboard to the base, but I'm pleased to say that yes, it is entirely possible for one person to assemble this without help. It took about 40 minutes to assemble and would have been less, had I not had the issue with the caster. Still, assembly was very easy and it looks great. There was just one little issue with one of the brackets that supports/connects the keyboard to the base being slightly lower that the others, so there is a visible gap, but the screw still was able to be secured at that corner and if I felt like it was a bigger deal, it wouldn't be hard to fix. Sound Quality/Playability: Other reviewers note that it takes a little more effort to push the keys than other pianos, but honestly...not that much. It was very easy to adjust to the resistance of the keys and I think it will be perfect to help strengthen the fingers of our beginners. My daughter (age 7) sat down right away and started playing with no problem. As for the sound quality, WOW! If you were listening with your eyes closed, it would be difficult to guess that you were listening to a digital piano. The quality of the sound is incredible! They keys feel great; the foot pedals are nice. Everything about this looks, feels and sounds beautiful. We haven't tried any of the additional hook-ups yet (audio in/out, usb jack, etc.), but I also don't foresee us needing to use them all that often. Overall: I'm so glad I went with my gut on this one. This is a wonderful digital piano and I am excited for my family to use it.

I decided to revisit the piano playing I left behind 17 years ago. This feels just like the piano I grew up playing on. Sound quality is fantastic! That said, I am by no means an expert. Also, this thing is super heavy! I am 5’4 130lbs, but was able to put it together on my own, but I struggled lol. Make sure you have someone to help you if you are not able to lift heavy things.

Easy to set up. Took about 30 minutes from opening the box to the user playing. Definitely a two-person job due to the size and weight of the actual piano. Keys certainly feel accurate as if it were a traditional piano. USB 2.0 I/O for phone or tablet connectivity. Sounds great overall.

I’m a complete beginner when it comes to music, I can’t even read music but the good news is YouTube exists. Anyway, this is a great piano for the price. It looks nice enough to have in communal areas of the house, volume control allows me to play late into the night without bothering neighbors, easy to assemble, lightweight enough to move around the house (single floor, would not recommend solo trying to move up stairs. OSHA says team lift over 50lbs). I love it and have really enjoyed playing it. Would recommend to beginners for sure, I’m not sure what a professional assessment might be but I’m very happy.

I was so excited for this piano to come! When it arrived the box was pretty banged up. My husband and I were able to get it put together easily, but there was definitely areas on the piano that were damaged. The piano itself plays beautifully and the sound is awesome. I played it for 3 hours straight that first night. Overall I'm very happy with it!

I was looking for an option that felt a bit “fancy” (i.e. no foldable stands or extra funky sounds), but I did not want to break the bank. This piano did not disappoint! It was relatively simple to put together, looks sleek, and sounds good. The headphone jack makes it great for practicing after hours, and the pedals and weighted keys make for a much more musical experience than my old-school Casio. Great for beginners, or anyone who wants the fun of a full sized piano without the exorbitant price tag.

I took lessons for 10 years as a child, and now I’m grown with a family of my own and found myself wanting to get back into playing piano. We wanted a piano that was a little more compact, and didn’t want to spend thousands. This has been a great purchase for us! The sound quality is decent for the price, and I like the feel of the keys as well. It wasn’t challenging to put together, just a little heavy and needed two people to set the keyboard onto the frame. It did come with one small cracked spot on the frame, but it’s not noticeable and wasn’t worth going through the return process to replace it. Overall a great option for someone new to the piano or for those that don’t want to spend thousands.

I had to sell my baby grand when we downsized and I’ve been missing a piano for two years. I didn’t want to spend a fortune so I did a little research. I didn’t bed any bells and whistles just a full weighted keyboard with volume control and headphones. I am happy to say this was perfect for me. I did have to put together the base using a diagram with no specific directions but I had it together in less than 30 minutes. Sound quality is beautiful! The weighted keys have just the right touch. I’m happily playing my old tunes again after 2 years!
