I bought an open-box travel guitar but when I opened the box thought Donner made a mistake and sent me a brand new unopened one.
Guitar itself weighs/feels/sounds really nice. I don't have prior experience (only few months, couple of years ago) and had left my previous guitar gathering dust because I couldn't practice anymore after bringing a teeny-tiny human home from hospital's maternity ward. Now, not needing an amplifier and being able to practice with headsets only, in a confined space, boosted my morale and desire again.
So happy with the attention to detail, quality of the materials, speed of delivery and easiness to shop. 10/10 to Donner.

Arrived much sooner than expected. As my first guitar I love the form factor and now that the sounds created are what I have made not necessarily what I wanted to produce. Definitely will continue learning with it.

Very good product for an amazing price

Good experience the order arrived promptly and well packaged in a card box and its case.
The guitar feels premium quality though a little heavier than I expected it to be. No problems with intonation straight out of the box and the neck is straight.
Tuning will take a bit of adjustment as this is my first headless guitar.
Pickups work well with the bridge humbucker kicking out the dirt with a bit of gain. All in recommended.

I had a bad experience with the initial delivery getting mislaid or lost which was the fault of the courier. After many emails to and from both supplier and the delivery courier Donner posted me a replacement which I finally received about two weeks later. The open box Hush X is quite a novelty guitar that plays well enough. The fingerboard feels a little gritty when string bending but not a deal sealing complaint.

Guitar arrived quickly, and it is just lovely. I travel a lot and it means I can practice when I am away.

The best travel guitar I have ever tried

Great delivery. Great guitar to learn on as it wont disturb my wife whilst I intially sound like a strangled cat.

The guitar arrived well packaged with all the various parts in place and protected. After tuning, I played it and found it comfortable, although the frets are a little rough, so I will have to give them a polish before I can fully enjoy. A little frustrating.

Great guitar at a good price

Having previously owned a travel guitar, a hofner shorty, which had terrible neck dive and poor intonation, I decided to buy a "open box" just incase..
How this guitar is a fantastic peace of design and engineering. Close eyes and you could be playing a size guitar. The ability to play with a backing track in silence is amazing, would have liked to have the ability to add some distortion but otherwise brilliant.
Get one you will not be disappointed.

I strummedalong on acoustics for years, but now that I have retired I have a bit more time to start learning how to play electric guitar. Fine idea but I need to be able to do some silent practice and I don’t have an amp so this seemed to be a perfect solution and it is!
I have no experience with any other electric guitars, so I cannot compare it but for me it seems pretty damn perfect.

Brilliant product came in great condition sounds ace. Only concern is that there is fair bit of wiggle in the attachable sides. However other than this well worth it.

Great travel guitar. Feels real quality for the money especially. Full size neck makes it feel like no compromise. Action needed tweaking slightly but now it plays very nicely with a decent tone.
Great purchase - looking forward to using it whenever I’m away with work!

I bought a "open-box" at a great discount ... it turned out to be indistinguishable from new! Amazing!
Also I love the included gig bag, it fits perfectly and has nice storage for accessories.
Overall it's a suprisingly great value! I would recommend! ✅

This was the Donner HUSH X Electric Guitar open box version which I got at a greatly reduced price.Apart from having to replace strings, one of which broke whilst tuning it,it was in superb, showroom condition and sounds great. The carry case itself is really compact and well thought out.

I have been researching this Donner Hush-X guitar for some time and the offer of an open box at a heavily discounted price was too good to turn down.
As with all the Donner products I own, the quality is superb. Everything was included in the excellent padded case, and looked absolutely brand new.
The intonation and action were both spot on, the smoothness of the neck and the excellent and well thought out ball end frets make playing an absolute delight.
Plugging into my amplifier, the sound from both the pickups was exactly how it should be, with the correct level of sustain from the humbucker when I select the gain mode.
Overall, I could not be more delighted with my purchase. Thank you Donner for another superb product to add to my growing collection.
Just one gripe - why use that dire outfit, Evri, for deliveries? They promised a delivery date and time range but, 10 minutes after the scheduled delivery time, I was informed they could not make the delivery. Not only that but someone had sliced open the outer box. Fortunately, because of the excellent carrying case Donner provided, no damage was caused to the guitar or the accessories. You as a company are ill-served by this outfit.
The above paragraph in no way detracts from what has proven an excellent guitar and which I shall be taking with me on my many journeys around the country when attending music festivals as MC or Stage Manager.
