Perfect match to your piano, seat cushion well padded. Good size. Storage under the seat. Excellent quality.

Duet seat is just fine, correct height, comfortable and good looking. Only improvement would be to be a few inches wider.

Exactly what I was looking for and happy with the quality and price

It comes disassembled with the legs fitted inside the bench. You put it together with a wrench (not included). The padded seat is a nice touch. The legs aren't made of wood so it's got more of a sleek look than a warm earthy look, but the material seems strong enough to last. It's nice having room in the bench to store our music. It's sturdy. Nice and high (compared to the chair we were using).

My acoustic piano is fabulous, but it came with a very small stool that barely fits me. So, I was excited to find this stool that is not only long enough to easily accommodate two people playing a duet it also opens to store sheet music! Besides the length, the storage attracted me to this piece. It’s been many years since I’ve seen a stool like that. The stool itself is quite nice. It arrived very carefully packed. The top part was ready to go because the lid was already attached to the base with hinges. All that remained was to attach the legs that were stored inside the bench. It even came with a handy little tool for that purpose. The only thing it didn’t have were instructions, but it is quite simple and obvious what needs to be done. The parts needed to attach the legs are already in the leg in the correct order. All you do is remove the washer, the lock washer, and the nut from the leg, flip the stool top upside down, insert the leg onto a corner of the bench top and install the washer, lock washer and nut, putting back in the same order. Plus, there is a visual on the product page. The top of the bench is nicely cushioned and comfortable, but too squishy. The vinyl is soft with a slight texture and has the appearance of real leather. The height feels right. The legs are wood with a black glossy finish. The stool is sturdy and stable on my floor and complements the piano perfectly. I am very pleased with this piano stool.

So much better than the bench that came with our new digital piano! So happy with this bench. I'm especially pleased that we can store our piano books inside the bench.

The Donner Duet Piano Bench exudes quality. The glossy black legs and body look beautiful. The thick cushion and padding so comfortable. Being a duet bench, it is of course wider than my solo bench, but the duet bench is also longer front to back. The height is the same. The bench feels structurally sound. The storage hinge holds the cushion up by itself so I can use two hands to look through the music books/sheets inside. I found no installation instructions, but it was simple enough. I sat in an armless chair and set the bench on my lap. I opened the storage, took out one bench leg at a time, and loosely installed them. Then I sat the bench on a level floor to tighten the legs with the provided tool. Closed the bench and installation was complete!

The finish is an attractive, smooth glossy black. The legs go on with a single bolt per leg. The bolts are quite substantial, but I wonder how well just one will hold. There is no give when I try to move the legs with my hand. In other words, they don't wobble or move at all. The same is true when I sit on the bench. There is no leg movement or wobble. The cushioning compresses when you squeeze it with your hand, but not so much when you sit on it, so it doesn't feel that soft. Because there is "give" when you squeeze it, I think it will relax on its own after a while. Having used a bench with no compartment, I'm very happy that I can store my music books in the bench.

The media could not be loaded. Good quality and easy to assemble. Just 4 nuts attached to the bolts on the legs. Any handymen or handywomen could do it. Such a beautiful little bench.

The media could not be loaded. Wow! Easy to assemble. No instructions come with it but all you do is attach the legs in place to assemble. I made a video to help you out with that ??. This is such a nice piano bench! It’s not super squishy and maybe a 7.5 out of ten for comfort, but it’s functional. I love that it opens up to store piano books and sheet music and the keyboard manual inside neatly. Great value!

This is a a very strudy bench and you won't be disppointed with how strong and solid it is. I do feel they could go a little farther and hide or recess the hinges so they are not seen as much. Also the contrast on the logo could be closer to that of the bench so it does not stick out as much..

This is a good piano bench and was easy to assemble once I came back to the product page and saw there were instructions on how the nuts and washers went as these instructions didn't come in the box. After you know this it's super easy to assemble because all you're doing is putting the legs on and then putting those nuts and washers on. This bench has storage which is wonderful but watch out because there's nothing really stopping it from slamming down on your fingers. I think it has some sort of lock on it when you open it fully but it doesn't seem dependable to me. Also I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about when they say you can see the hinges but you can't see the hinges on the front or the back of my bench. I tried to take some photos to show this so hopefully they help someone out. Kind of wish the finish wasn't so glossy but it's not a big deal...I just can't stand fingerprints and it's already a pet hair magnet but again oh well. It's a sturdy bench that looks nice and matches the piano because it's black (piano is not glossy though). Overall satisfied with this purchase and would purchase this again as well as recommend to friends + family.

This shiny black lacquer bench is solid, stable, and the seat is firm but not uncomfortable. It’s exactly as pictured and described. At ~29” length and ~13” wide, it is on the small side for a duet bench but comparable in size, price, and style to other similar duet benches. I had difficulty fitting 2 stacks of sheet music inside without overlapping them so they don’t lay completely flat. The larger duet benches are 5” wider and 5” deeper and some are 1” taller, but the price doubles or triples at that point, so I’m quite content with this for my digital keyboard. *** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***

Very glossy black finish (ressembles the laqcuer or enamel finish bedrooms sets had in the old days). Well, this bench will certainly complement a black piano I got a few weeks ago that have not set up yet because it's a surprise for my daughter at the end of classes (want to get rid of our old piano that weight about 1000 pounds LOL.).Easy to put together, it comes out very sturdy and comfortable with space under the cushioned lid to store some things. Love it!
