Perfect beginner piano and easy to store
Connie H.
I recently bought a foldable digital piano to rekindle my piano skills and enjoy playing my favourite songs. It’s perfect for my limited space and allows me to play anytime without disturbing the neighbours.

Bluetooth connection and connection to a PC are also possible.
The basic functions of an electronic piano, such as variable tone colours, are also well equipped.
It comes with a music stand, a backrest and a pedal. The sound quality is not as good as a full piano, but it has 88 keys and is easy to connect to electronic devices so it can be used in a variety of ways.
The battery lasts a very long time and it is light and easy to transport. I'm looking forward to using it.

I bought this piano keyboard for my daughter because her usual but little-used keyboard was taking up too much space in her student room in the shared flat. Instead, the Donner foldable piano keyboard can be easily hidden under a desk and is very quickly ready for use when needed.
The keyboard is comparatively well made, although the keys occasionally have an uneven gap, but this does not affect the touch. The sound quality of the built-in speakers is good overall, although you tend to use in-ears that can be paired via Bluetooth so as not to disturb your flatmates, although the sound quality is still very good. Thanks to the built-in battery, you can position the keyboard relatively freely and use it outdoors in good weather.

The Donner DP-10 Portable Piano Keyboard has been a great addition to my setup, and as a beginner, I’ve found it incredibly user-friendly yet versatile. First off, the fact that it’s foldable is a game-changer. Living in a small apartment, space is always a concern, but the DP-10 folds down to just about 25 inches, making it super easy to store when not in use. Plus, it’s lightweight, so I can take it with me when I travel or visit friends for jam sessions. The build quality is surprisingly good for something so portable—it feels sturdy even when fully extended.
One thing I love about this piano is the range of features packed into such a compact design. It has 128 rhythms and 128 tones, which give me a lot of room to experiment. I didn’t expect so many options from a beginner keyboard at this price point. There are also 21 demo songs, which are fun to play along with, and functions like automatic chords, split keyboard, and even recording capabilities. The built-in drum kits are a nice touch too, and I find myself using them more than I thought I would. This all makes it more than just a "starter" keyboard—you can actually create some pretty complex compositions with it.
The DP-10 connects easily to my phone via Bluetooth, which is awesome for learning apps and even for practicing with backing tracks. I’ve also used the USB-MIDI connection to hook it up to my computer for recording, and it works seamlessly as a MIDI controller. This is something that really elevates the keyboard, giving it flexibility beyond just practicing. I’ve started using it with some beginner music software, and the responsiveness is great.
In terms of the keys, I would say they’re decent for the price. They aren’t fully weighted, so they don’t feel exactly like a traditional acoustic piano, but the touch sensitivity is good enough for practicing finger strength and dynamics. The 88-key setup is a big plus since I wanted to get used to the full range of a piano right from the start.
Battery life is also a strong point. I was skeptical at first about how long it would last, but I’ve gotten close to the advertised 10 hours on a full charge. It charges fairly quickly too, though I wish they had included the power adapter in the package instead of just the USB-C cable. That said, I used one of my phone chargers and it worked just fine.
The only minor downside I’ve found is that the onboard speakers could be a little louder. In a quiet room, they’re fine, but if there’s any background noise, I find myself using headphones or connecting the keyboard to an external speaker. This isn’t a huge deal, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning on performing in a noisier environment without external amplification.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Donner DP-10. It’s an excellent choice for beginners like me who want something affordable, portable, and packed with features. It’s a solid entry point into the world of digital pianos, and I can see myself using it for a long time as I continue to improve.

I absolutely love this 88-key portable piano keyboard for beginners! The keys have a comfortable feel and are a great way to learn to play the piano. The compact size and light weight make it easy to take the keyboard anywhere. The different sound options and training functions are really helpful for beginners. I highly recommend this piano keyboard!

This is great for practicing. It’s not to heavy and extremely portable. The sound is good and it’s very easy to set up. It performs well. The keys work well and are very responsive to the pressure that you place on the keys. We’re extremely happy with this product and definitely recommend it.

The portable piano keyboard arrived well packaged. At first I had no idea how to unfold the folded keyboard. There was nothing in the description either. Apparently it wasn't easy to unfold because nothing happened when I tried. Of course I didn't want to break anything. At some point I pulled really hard on both ends of the keyboard, then it clicked and the keyboard unfolded. Once you know that, it's OK.
My son immediately took possession of the piano (see video) and tried it out. The sound is really not good. With such a large case it would certainly have been no problem to install larger or better speakers. The tinny sound means that the piano always sounds a little out of tune, which is of course nonsense. I actually thought I had read that you can connect the piano to Bluetooth speakers. But that doesn't work. You can only connect a cell phone or an audio source to the piano and then use the piano as a speaker. But somehow that's pointless.
The keystroke is good, the foot pedal is very narrow but works perfectly. There are many setting options that are sometimes useful and sometimes less useful. All in all, a well-rounded package with the small drawback of the bad speaker. That's why I'm taking off one star.

The piano is well made so far. I was very happy to test it because I've always wanted to learn the piano. The big advantage of this model is that it can be set up and taken down quickly and can be easily taken anywhere. So you can open the piano for a moment in the evening and then put it away again.
It's a bit strange to open it at first because you have to use a lot of force to open it, as both halves are held together with a click connection. You only have to press a button to release it when you fold it up. When it's unfolded, the folding mechanism doesn't interfere. I particularly like the possibility of having all 88 keys available, which simply allows for more song selection.
I started as a newbie and can only say that it's worth practicing. Of course the sound isn't the best but it's still good enough for beginners. The pedal also works perfectly to make notes resonate. In the evening I often use the option of connecting headphones so as not to disturb anyone. The battery lasts a long time, before that my fingers get tired .
I am extremely happy with the piano, but when playing it you sometimes notice that relatively loose key presses or quick notes in succession are not recognized correctly, but this only affects a few songs. That's why it loses one star. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the piano for beginners.

This is perfect for a person that might need to transport their keyboard to lessons, go play with friends etc. It's small, lightweight and easy to toss in a car. It's just as pictured and works well enough for a beginner level keyboard. The lack of keys limits you if you're quite expert and need a huge range but for most of us this will do fine.
