I've played an acoustic guitar for many years but in recent years a stiff right shoulder has made using a standard guitar painful so I have not played very much. My daughter has taken over my Epiphone and she was playing it at Christmas together with my son and 2 grandsons. This has re-awakened my love of guitar and I saw the Donner Hush-i pro in an advert. I decided to take the plunge as the more compact size does not cause the problem with the shoulder. I love the sound, it's just like an acoustic. It also means I can take it on holiday in the motorhome due to the compact size. I love it.

It came on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. I was dubious at first as to whether the screen was too small for me to see properly. However I decided to keep it and I’m now getting used to the size of it. I had it professionally set up and I’m very pleased with it.

Arrived on time. Less than 10 minutes later I was playing and exploring. Action is excellent. Tuning a little fiddly but once I was used to the supplied Allen key it's no problem. Sound excellent. Playing a variety of types of music from classical to blues. Used presets and adjustments to experiment with sound. Just tried IRs too. Overall very pleased and highly recommended

The 6th string has a tendancy to slip out of place on the bridge. A similar string tree to 1st/2nd strings would help.Apart from that the guitar is very good and well made action is slightly high. Best Regards Tom

For what it cost this thing is excellent. I bought this guitar to accompany me on trips. Although, I haven't traveled with it yet (two weeks I'll be on a plane though), it is small and light enough to throw over my shoulder and zip through the airport. I have built a portable recording studio around it with my iPad as the DAW. It plays well and sounds awesome through the headphones or plugged into an amp. Extra IR files are easy to find and downloading them to the HUSH is super simple with the software giving you an endless variety of sound options.
All in all, I would say it's good value for a musician who wants an instrument to accompany them on their travels.

Plays well. Set up well. I’ve changed the strings to my preferred brand and gauge but that’s it. Keeps in tune better than my more expensive guitars (Fender, Martin and EVH) and the single charge has already lasted weeks)

What a super guitar - it's really hush-ed! I am an acoustic beginner and loving this new style guitar with so many features I will 'grow into'! And it stays in tune with the onboard tuner.
The headphones that come with the guitar - they are high quality. [I also have a mini Donner amp if I wish to play to friends - the Hush-I Pro sounds fantastic out loud too!].
I BT my iPad and Hush-I Pro, to play along with Guitar Club lessons and hear both the backing track and my own playing, via headphones.

I used to play the guitar 40 years ago, but I haven't picked up a guitar since then. Recently, I tried teaching myself how to play the guitar again. It is not like riding a bike. I think I am starting to get on my kids' nerves listening to me practice every chance I get. This Donner Acoustic electric guitar HUSH pro allows me to practice silently with headphones on. It is genius. The body takes a little getting used to, but I think it looks cool. It is a beautiful instrument with a semi-soft case and pockets for everything. The strings are soft and don't cut into my fingers. It comes with everything I need to practice and play whenever I want to.

Bought the Hush-I Pro a month ago, and I remain impressed. Quality of construction and electronics is excellent. The system for adjusting the multitude of effects works very well. The guitar is very playable, especially after I adjusted the truss rod to lower the action. It comes with good quality light acoustic steel strings. It comes with in ear monitor headphones which seem good, but I’m using over ear headphones. It’s nice for practice, especially if you don’t want to make much noise. But I really am enjoying experimenting with different sounds, both to adjust Presets to “optimize” specific songs, but also using sounds to come up with some creative ideas that previously would not have been possible.

This thing is just freaking cool. I was super surprised that there was an entire, functional guitar in this little case that my hand took up a quarter of. It's light, it plays well, the built in effects are super cool. The built in tuner is extremely convenient. The fact that I can play this with regular earphones, or plug it up to a speaker, OR an actual amp, is just amazing. I can literally play this thing anywhere. It's definitely the coolest guitar I've owned. My only complaint is the tuners. They kind of look like they have a slot for an allen wrench, but by finger it's dang near impossible to tune. I had to use pliers. Not sure if I'm supposed to use another tool but again, it kind of looks like you might be able to pop an allen wrench in the end which would make it substantially easier. Regardless, I've still got so much tinkering and tweaking to do to experience all this has to offer. So far, though, it's insane and I'm having a blast.

Sadly only 3 stars because display is very dim. Not a good OLED version. Also string action set too high and some frets are not set properly in the fretboard. All in all I wanted to like this guitar but not yet. In discussion with Donner so we will see what comes out of the conversation!
