Comparing several amps at home, and this makes it easy to instantly switch between. I'm sure it will have other uses to keep around. EDIT: it is noisy and not true by pass for this. Some bleed comes through, as it's hooked up to 2 amps. It worked to compare sounds of amps, but I could never use it for actually playing. Will look for something quieter I could continue to use.

I got this to attempt to setup a bypass loop for my pedalboard, which it won't do. Not the fault of the switch! I didn't realize that the "clean" path would pick up resistance from the "effects" path, thereby cutting my signal out of the board to almost nothing. I'm sure it does a great job of sending signals to two different amps or paths or whatever. I just couldn't use it to split a signal and then bring the signals back together with a Y-adaptor into my preamp. I may find a use for it sometime down the road.

I have 3 of them connected to each other in order to use 4 wireless inputs for my looper pedal. Using dual inputs ([A+B] instead of [A]Red or [B]Green) weakens both signals (as expected), but the device is intended to be used as a switch anyways. All 3 function for their intended purposes; 5/5 stars.

I needed an AB/Y switcher to compare Digital Modeling devices for electric guitar. I didn't want to spend a lot because this is the only purpose for which this was purchased. While I only had need to split one incoming signal (from the guitar) to two separate outputs, it can also work in reverse at the flip of a switch sending two separate inputs to a single output. This worked exactly as I expected and the price was very reasonable compared to similar products. I would buy again or recommend to others.

I needed to switch between two different guitars I use both electric. One left handed the other right handed. Of course I could have taken the time to unplug one guitar and plug up the other but this saves me time. Also can use this if I want to use one guitar and switch between two different amps. Very versatile and built like a tank.

I use this A/B box after a tuner for two different signal chains on my fly rig. One side goes into a Fishman ToneDEQ for the acoustic. The other side goes through pedals into a Simplifier DLX. Both channels go direct to FOH.......I use the tuner to mute when swapping guitars. So this pedal works and it works well. No bleed through that I can tell and have heard zero complaints. Construction is solid all around. Honestly, for such a simple device you shouldn't need to spend much for a quality device. As of now, they will be my go to boxes in this application and I would recommend them to others.

I use this to record one guitar and have it run through two different effects. I can have a clean version and a distorted version that are timed exactly the same without having to play separately with timing never being perfect. It sounds great. Not something I use for every song I record, but nice to have when I want to do that. Also it does not need to be plugged in to work. Love it.

I use this to switch guitars. A runs me through my pedalboard to my amp and b runs me to a direct box and to the PA. I’ve got about 20 stage hours on it and a bunch of practice. It works every time and without power. Chick spilled beer on it last night. Wiped it off and kept trucking. No buzz either

I wanted this to easily switch between my practice amp and computer, without always unplugging/plugging in cables from one setup to the other. This solved that problem for a very reasonable price. My only complaint, it that I originally wanted to attach it to my pedalboard, and whatever rubber material they used on the bottom, is pretty resistant to velcro sticking, so you have to use zipties or some other attachment mechanism. I ended up zipping it to my desk leg, where the rubber base helps hold it in place.

I was already a fan of Donner pedals. One of my favs is the Baby Water. The Donner ABY line select was just as great! Aside from being sturdy and well built the pedal is quiet. Without boring you with details of my rig, I run BOTH this miniature Donner and the larger Donner ABY with polarity select together with (to my ears and gauges) no signal loss. I also bought the Donner multicharger. All comes together CLEAN. Donner really gets the job done (for for disclosure I use both Donner and Boss pedals).

I was very suprised with this item! I wanted an ABY box to run 2 amps at the same time. I read numerous reviews on the name brand boxes. However, I figured I would give this a shot just to test it out and was VERY suprised. This box has all of the perks and options of the higher priced models. I have 2 amps 3 feet apart (boss katana 100 and Line 6 Spider V 60) and there is absolutely no buzz or phasing! The setup sounds KILLER. I got exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the cost! There is no hum or any other issues. The amps sound great together and I am so glad I took a chance on this. The box is also built well and VERY well packaged. Not sure if the amp types matter as far as phasing or hum,but my setup works fantastic! Donner has some great products on the cheap and they really hit this one out of the park!

Nicely packaged. Compact size with a solid feel. It seems to be constructed very well. Professional caliber. All 3 jacks hold the cable plugs securely. No hum. No static. No crackling. LED worked and changed colors accordingly. I tested this pedal switch with a 9V power supply connected, two AC-powered amplifiers (1 tube, 1 solid state) with built-in effects and a lap steel with a single coil Lace Gold pickup. Switching between the amps was clean-sounding, no pops, no hiss, no crackles. Sound quality and volume were consistent as I switched back and forth. Even with reverb ON, the switching was quiet. Excellent, affordable solution for multiple setups.

Seriously, these are passive devices that you don't need to pay a lot for. The power supply port is only to power the LED. Paying anymore than this is robbery. Thank you Donner for providing a cost effective ABY pedal. If you have a lot of pedals and two amps/direct boxes then this is the best thing you can buy yourself.

This device works well enough when your input devices have adequate output. I found that when using an instrument that had no pre-amp that nothing was outputted. With a straight A/B switch this would not be the case. It wouldn't care about the input level. There must be some sort of electronics within the device doing this. As long as both of my inputs are of a sufficient output (sorry, no metrics for you), the switch works as expected - very nicely. I didn't use this device in the combined input to one output mode.

This is a great value for an ABY pedal. Heavy duty case. Quality switch that does not “pop.” My only criticism is that I wish the “Y” function was also a footswitch instead of a slider. Overall, though, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, does it well, and at a very affordable price.

This is convenient and works for me, either for converting my stereo rig to mono based on backline availability or going to my itrack solo, or splitting between two amps for some variety. It’s small and fits in my gig bag. No noise that I’ve noticed, and the switch is quiet with no pops.

This pedal is very small which is great. I leave it plugged in to dc adapter with other pedals, but the light stays on as well. There is no off position for the light which is weird. Other than that it works great for me to send my guitar signal to two amps.

This pedal works as advertised. It can play both amps simultaneously or switch between one or the other, all without power needed. The only con is that when only one amp is selected you'll notice a little bit of bleed through on the other amp if for some reason you want to play with both amps on but only one selected on the pedal.

Typical economical pedal but has the ability to stream to two amplifiers. Well built for price. Please note this works great with either going to one amp at a time or same time (amp A and B) but does not have a phase option so it cannot break your pedal train early and go to a different stream of pedals(at least not with my setup). If you need to have your guitar signal hit two amplifiers at the same time or go to one at a time this is a cost effective way to do it. You cannot make it the first in pedal chain and stream a clean line to one amp and a pedal chain channel to another.
